working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria Doncho Barbalov
As part of the visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, the management of UKRSTAL CONSTRUCTION as participants of the Ukrainian business delegation held a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria Doncho Barbalov.
Mr. Barbalov emphasized that Ukraine is an important economic partner of Bulgaria, and that the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria attaches great importance to the development of bilateral economic relations, striving to expand them.
The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects for investment cooperation, industrial clusters and industrial zones in Bulgaria, paid attention to practical aspects of cooperation within the framework of the North-South transport corridor and the possibilities of municipal investment programs.
Representatives of UKRSTAL CONSTRUCTION demonstrated to the Bulgarian leadership and representatives of Bulgarian business our production facilities and our own implemented projects in the metallurgical, energy, oil and gas industries, infrastructure and commercial construction, construction of logistics hubs, and spoke about the achievements and opportunities for further expansion of our own industrial parks based on our plants.
The leaders of UKRSTAL CONSTRUCTION expressed great interest and readiness to become reliable and experienced partners of construction, energy, industrial and logistics companies of Bulgaria in the creation of transport and logistics corridors, the implementation of infrastructure facilities - bridges, terminals, airports, modernization of the energy sector, the introduction of innovative technologies, in commercial construction.
The Deputy Minister of Economy expressed the hope that as a result of the delegation's visit to Bulgaria, specific projects will be implemented, and the Ministry of Economy and Industry will remain available to provide assistance within its competence.
As part of the eventful program of visits on November 12-18, 2025 also held working meetings of the leaders of UKRSTAL in the National Assembly (Parliament) of the Republic of Bulgaria, in the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Energy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the Municipality and the management of the port of Burgas.
Investment opportunities, state incentives and presentation of Ukrainian initiatives, the creation of industrial parks and hubs became the main topics of meetings with the Agency for the Management of Industrial Zones of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Investment Agency.
