"Ukrstal Construction celebrates 50-year anniversary! We continue glorious traditions, creating the new technological system of our country: infrastructure, heavy industry, bridge construction, energy-generating industry."
This was the topic of the speech of Serhii Kuharenko, Marketing Director of UKRSTAL CONSTRUCTION, during the Exhibition Forum "Construction Technologies and Autonomous Solutions for Infrastructure Restoration" on July 4, 2023.
The main ideas of the speech:
- Ukraine should become an industrial platform for the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions, Africa, and the Middle East. The culture and traditions of high-tech production have been preserved in the country: many years of work experience, engineering and scientific staff, higher education.
- Ukraine has all the prerequisites for development in all branches of production: mining and processing plants, enterprises of the chemical industry, oil storage and oil refining, building materials (cement factories, glass factories, ceramics, etc.). UKRSTAL cooperated in the construction of a new kaolin plant using exclusively German technologies of the Quarzwerke Gruppe, in Hlukhivtsi. The second and third phases of the plant were planned .
- It is necessary to process and enrich the ore, not to depend on external suppliers. New mine construction and reconstruction projects have been approved in our country. UKRSTAL carried out a complex of general contracting works on the restoration of the conveyor gallery, engineering systems and equipment at the East MPP, the Ingulets Mine for uranium and thorium ores.
- In view of damage to oil parks, the operational wear and tear of Ukrtransnafta's parks, the demand for large-capacity tanks, where UKRSTAL has a solid reputation, will continue to grow.
- Restoration of destroyed cities, reconstruction and renovation of residential, logistics, and shopping complexes are difficult tasks, but they are overcome by our engineers and builders in such renovation projects as the new PLATFORM business center on the site of the former Voronin factory.
- New alternative road and rail routes, airport and railway station terminals, aircraft maintenance hangars, etc. are needed. Terminals "D" and "F" of Boryspil airport are vivid examples of UKRSTAL cooperation with international partners. Together with NIBULON, which created its own river fleet and developed routes to the Nile, UKRSTAL quickly built terminals using new grain storage and processing technologies.
- Due to high wear and tear of bridges and their critical condition as a result of military operations, the bridge restoration program will be continued. UKRSTAL provided structures for such iconic and significant objects as the Zaporizhzhia Bridge, the pedestrian bridge in Natalka Park, and others.
- Ukraine is the best place for relocation of global industrial production facilities, for construction of metallurgical plants. ArcelorMittal, Azovstal, TataSteel, Metinvest, and others - at these steel mills, UKRSTAL carried out reconstruction, introduced new technologies, for example, blast furnace structures, gas cleaning, pulverized fuel injection complexes, electric filters, oxygen converter production, and continuous casting complexes.
